I would like to Pattern the offset feature using axis A-6- But software doesn

Heloo.....

Here I can see these pictures ....any way

So Please try ..Generate Reveloved Surface and on the top of revolved surface generate offset surface using area offset. Then apply pattern using axis normal to revloved surface....

That all what I did but failed tp patterned

Thanks for all what you tried ...I would like to do Something like that

1-Insert -Generate Revolved circular Surface like a Ball on Front Plane.

2-Generate DTM 1 ,which is parallel to TOP and tangnet to circular surface

3-Generate DTM2 offset from DTM 1 at certain distance (not too much far) just outside the model

4-Edit -offset--from reference -selcet Expand Feature option

under Expand area -select Sketched region and define Sketch and Selcect DTM 2 for Sketching plane--In Sketcher Draw Hexagon on Centre--done

Now define offset value (like Extrude)

5-Generte Axis at intersection of TOP and Right Datum

6-Now Try Pattern the offset feature with the help of this generated axis

No Result for Pattren?????

Hopefully you have now got my point

All the best

I'll give it a shot and see what happens (may be later today). What comes to mind just now is the feature order (axis and offset). Seems I've had similar problems if the axis is newer than the feature to be patterned. Are any messages generated in message window to that effect?

... ok, had a chance to look.

2006-02-07_131540_tmp.zip (WF2, again)

Seems there are a couple of issues.

One is the axis; must be older than the offset so simply drag it up the feature tree.

The other might be a bug, not sure. Instead of creating an Expanded Offset, create a With Draft Feature Offset.

www.mcadcentral.com/proe/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26213&PN= 5 for more info on the surf copy method also attached. (You'll have to take the spaces that show up for who know's what reason out of the link.)

Helo...thanks for all that exercise..

I am unable to open your attached zip file in WF 2.0.

try again plz
