pattern reference problem

Let me describe my problem. I have an assemply, which consists of some other assemblies, patterns of assemblies and of parts. Some of my patterns are ofthe directional type. And these patterns use asreferencesplanes of some parts. I understand now that it is not correct, but...


So. When i replace the part by some other part, my patterns lose their references. I can't catch this situation with the status column. So i have to check all of my patterns to find the one, that have lost it's reference.


Please, tell me the better way of finding lost references, if it exists.

I don't really know a good answer but I'd look at Model Player and Model Check.
