patterning flexible part

Hello,


I've got a question about flexible components, something new to me.


I've got alot of the same tube with different lengths in an assembly . I thought I wouldmake the tube a flexible component and put it in the assembly with the lengths I need.


Then I tried patterning one of the tubes, but the patterned copies don't keep the length I assigned to the first tube.


Is this solvable or an I just using flexible components the wrong way?
