Perspective view

Hi....I have a stupid question. I can't seem to find the place where I can change the degree of perspective that you get vhen you activate the perspective view. I did it once ages ago but I can't remember where it was, and that was probably in SW 2005....now I'm using 2009. Can anybody help? Thanks a billion! ;)

'View' 'model setup' 'Perspective' ....

I think I would prefer the camera type interface where I can choose proper photography settings over this cumbersome slider interface but there it is....

Thanks...I don't seem to HAVE "model setup"under view...I have it in spanish but I'm pretty sure I could recognise the equivalent...it's just not there. Ah, well. I guess I'll just photoshop my renders or import it into 3d studio or something...maybe photoview has a perspective option...but thank you.

I just checked both WF2 and WF4, the model setup is there under the view menu, as long as you're not in drawing mode.

I'm just curious, you mention that you did this in Solidworks 2005 and you are now using 2009. There is no Pro|E 2009. Are you asking about Solidworks? This is the Pro|E forum ...

Speaking of perspective, don't you think camera setup in WF simply sucks?!? I hate a lot of things about it: in perspective view when I rotate the view and press CTRL to "tilt" camera, everything "jumps" to random angles. If I build a rig for camera control (like sketches and datum points to control where the camera is and where to aim, then set perspective to "from - to" everything works well BUT when I change the position of the points, or simply exit perspective view, it all starts from the beginning again!

I see that WF5.0 is a huge improvement in rendering quality, and WF4 was good as far as light and texturing are concerned, but the MOST important thing for doing renderings is a good perspective camera control, and I think Pro|E really is left behind in this case... I'd really like to be able to simply place a "camera" dummy part and control it, perhaps in assembly mode...

New perspective mode in WF5

OMG now I can't wait for WF5 :D:D Do you have some information or screenshot?

Another thing PTC or Mental Ray should address is the rendering engine: I've been playing a little with Lightwave 3D 9.6 recently and I simply love their "volume stack" feature, when you don't have to care about "touching" polygons when rendering transparent surfaces in contact with solid or liquids...
