Phantom Components

In WF 2.0, is there a way to make some components of my assembly show as phantom line instead of solid? I am putting an assembly together that is going to mount to an existing machine. I need the existing machine to be in phantom line to prevent confusion as to which parts are being made andwhich are not.

Thanks

Go to View;Drawing Display; Component Display....pick your parts (use control button for more than one), middle mouse and pick opaque or transparent. We do the same process for existing parts of the machine.

Ok, thanks. That did exactly what I needed it to. Is therea way to change the color of the phantom lines. I tried the "user color" option but that just made my component a solid color.

Thanks

The only way that I can get it to work is to go to View; Display Settings; System Colors; and change your hidden line color. That works for me because we usually don't show hidden lines in our assembly drawings. Hope that helps.

Scratch that!!! Don't know what I was thinking. It changes your whole environment.

Sorry
