FYI:
Most of the entries were modeled and rendered in Alias Studio and
MAYA. We hired Scott L. Rachwalski to teach MAYA workshops for
us. We also hired Alfredo Santillan to teach Alias
workshops for us. Scott has forfeited his winnings.

The Double barrel squirt gun was modeled using WILDFIRE 2.0 andISDX by one of our past students.

they are some awesome designs..

i think most people here would have the main trouble in rendering
rather than modelling. there seem to be some excellent modellers
here.

i like all the models... especially because many of the people are
using different programs to achieve similar results. Also, this helps
confirm that Pro/Engineer is a legitimate tool for Industrial
Designers, and not just engineers. I would suggest checking out the
model they have of the Nissan 350Z(at proetools.com), pretty amazing
the way they put that together using ISDX. I wish they had some
animations to go along with the competitions models so I could see some
of them in action. Chau.
