Would like to make a cilinder pipe with holes around in helical model.
The holes should be throught the pipe, this would be for a filter cartridge, pipe strainer..
Create your first hole with a radial placement. Now pattern the hole, selecting both the angle dimension and the linear dimension in the first pattern set.
Ok, this is a little different than I understood from your description.
I would suggest two patterns. Each pattern would be patterend in two dimensions, one angular and one linear. The second patteren would be positioned in the middle of the pattern to form an X with respect to the remaining holes.
