placing user name in text in a format

I am working on drawing formats for Wildfire 2.0 with Intralink 3.4. Is
there a way to capture the Intralink users name with a proEnginner
parameter?

We use a little Java Program to insert in every drawing some parameters and among them is the designers name too, but right now I can't tell how it

I do not know about Intralink. This is how we used to do. Define a parameter "designed_by" and declare it in start.prt. The designer fills that parameter during new model creation. The parameter is extracted to the drawing by using "&designed_by" in the appropriate position in the drawing.


With this method use intralink to assign rights for editing solely to the designer.
