Plotting jpegs in drawing

I cannot seem to locate the thread earlier on this topic. If you have it at your finger tips, please link.

Has anyone been successful in plotting jpegs that were inserted objects inside pro/E drawings? They are currently not showing up in my PDFs.

Here is what I have dug up. First, you must use MS Print Mananer, and not any other .pcf files. Second, we had to change the sheet size from A to Variable. I am not sure why, but worked.

I had worked on this a lot, for the object that u want to insert and get it print,


insert the jpeg in format mod, i.e set the working directory to format folder and insert the obect u want, then call this formate in dwg mode when it ask for the template.

You can also convert the jpeg into a bitmap file. Then insert the bitmap image. Proe will print the bitmap image.

I mean to say bitmap since it did not allow you to insert the jpeg directly
