plotting out problem

m_ammar_t

New member
i have been trying to plot out some pro E drawings but i have two problems while doing that:

1- I set the size as A4 for example and plot the page out, but part of the table goes out of the paper so i always have to use the plot area which is not convincing.

2- some of the table lines don't appear in the plotted drawings.

so please help me sort this problem out.

yours moki

Do the following

1.Set the drawing layout to fit view.

2.Go to file>print>configure.......set the paper size to A4 andmodel settings to based on zoom(for plot) and 1(for scale).

3.Select ok. ok and then select your desire printer and set the paper to A4.

4.You will get your required size print.

Note; The key to this print setting is the bold above should be of same size no matter what is the size of drawing(for example A0,A1,A3etc)

thanks mechanical for your replay. It worked, but the problem that I still couldn't get scale 1:1 on the paper.

I mean when I plot drawing in this way I am just plotting them fit to paper but not 1:1

thanks bari

i tried the "full plot" but still i have part of the table out of the sheet,

i imported my template from autoCAD file and its size is A4

please help me with this issue.....

In this case, please check with following points..

1) your ProE Format Sheet Size & Plotted sheet size must be same.

2) Unit of drawing is equal to unit of plot size.

( Ex. unit mm = metric format A4 to A0& Inch = Inch format A to E )

Hope this may help to solve your problem.

default proe format size is 297 x 210mm. if you are using this try to create a border in your format sizing between 285 x 200 mm approximately. since printerleaves some margins without printingaround your sheet (approximately 5mm all around).
