Point clouds into Pro_E

New member
I've got a point cloud printout for a part that has way more points then I want to put in manually. Is there a way to get the points into pro-e with out the use of another program?

Du you have a .pts file??

If so , in "create point offset from c-sys", you can import your pts file.

I am familiar with this issue. How many points do you
have? If you have more than 5,000 or so you will
probably want to consider using REX. On my system there
is a limitation of 10,000 some points when importing
them through the offset from coordinate system datum
point tool. I get an error in ProE telling me so.
However I have imported millions of points at once with
no problem using REX.
