Pro-E 2001 can do what WF-2 cant.

Hi Friends,

I am trying to patch up an iges file using Wf-2, But for some reason i was not able to do so using the Boundry Blend Tool. I converted the file to a neutral file and tried doing the same thing in Pro-E 2001 using Surface from boundries. and it worked out.

Now what is it that i am missing or may be wf is missing? Can any body shade light on this issue.

I am attaching the neutral file and the image.2006-05-04_084229_patch.zip

Try command line utility UnRAR. It's free (google it) and you don't have to install it.The syntax is unrar x file.rar destination_path.

Well, this problem could be a matter of accuracy settings. If your default accuracy in Wildfire 2.0 is higher that that is older versions, it may be telling you that the surface cannot be made to such a tight tolerance. Click edit definition on the import surface and start playing with the heal geometry options if changing your accuracy doesn't help. The heal geometry is a very powerful tool to fix things like translations from Catia or Unigraphics. You may need to realign some vertices and things like that!
