Pro/Toolkit of Wildfire 4 on XP 64bit

Hi all,

I have tried to run the example application of Pro/Toolkit from Wildfire IV M020 on XP x64:
Compile (exe and dll) succeed, but only the .exe runs, start a .dll in Dll Mode always failed. All Examples do the same.

Has anyone here successful run such examples in Dll mode?

Hello Minhua,


Do you check the correct 64bit Pro/Engineer installation has been done in your machine.In the protoolkit folder under the load point there is a folder on the name of x86e_win64 is exists?


You need to check the which version of the of the complier in your system to run with make file given by Pro/Engineer.


Let me know do you made any progress to run in dll mode.

thank Kishore, the problem is solved by contacting with PTC-Support:
the wildfire 4 library on x64 is only compatible with Visual Studio 2005 WITHOUT SP1.

So i habe deinstalled SP1 and it works
