I use a revolved surface for the tthread major diameter and a revolved cut for the root diameter. I use the dimensions from the macinery's handbook. I then group the features and copy from one model to another. You could create UDF's for these and place them in your library. Let me know if you do that. I havent had the time to make them yet. Another thing I sometimes do is create the helical cut to show the actual thread. It helps prevent a conical hole without threads when I send parts offshore without drawings.
