Problem with dimensioning

Hammdy

New member
I've always had this problem and decided to deal with it now. When drawing a line at an angle it always shows the angle and the dimension between the bottom of the line and the center line. How can I change it so it shows the angle and the actual length of the line? That would make it a whole lot easier...I'm pretty sure in this part I'm drawing here I've messed up the dimensions at the bottom somewhere.... Thanks!

Well you could always use dimesion from sketch or you could right click your mouse to show a drop menu select dimension then select the line you want to have a dimension, then your done button. You could also do this for your angle.

Also works on points.

Its very simple, to show the dimension fo the entity you should always select the entity itself. Now what has come up defualt is, the entity is being dimensioned to the references thats all.
