Problems with Assembly

Hi all,

I have posted this message several times before........ and I'm doing it again now. I have 2 parts that are to be assembled in order to make up the complete model. But for some reason or the other, I simply am not able to do it. A few people have done it and sent me the .prt file, but since there wasn't any explanation on how they did it, I still cannot get to do it on my own.

I have been trying to read a book on Pro/E and learn the stuff by myself, but this exercise is not of much help to me, except learning the various commands. Does anyone know any way to learn Pro/E on our own by any resources?

I've attcahed the 2 part files that are to be assembled. The model in the file leaflet.prt has to wrap around the model.prt file. I have also sent a picture of how the final model should look. Also, for some reason, Pro/E wouldn't let me give a thickness of 0.1mm to the leaflet.prt model.Shouldwe do this before or after assembling?

It would be helpful if someone gave me a step- by- step explanation of how the assembly was created. Except for just knowing the meaning of a few commands, I do not know anything else about the Assembly feature.

Thanks,
