Process prints

What is a simple andefficient method of creating process prints for manufacturing? I've tried inserting an inheritance; however this seems like a very time consuming to create so many models. Can't I create them on sheets with saved views? The part is a little too complicated for a family. I can already "fake it" to get what my manager wants, (hard copies) but I'd like to do it right.

One way would be to create a part for your process sheets and insert the original part as an inheritance feature. Add a surface feature to represent the blank the part would be machined from. You then add material to the model toput backthe material that would be removed by the previous process. Keep adding material the previous process removed until your part has the same shape as the blank part surface. I do not do process sheets, so someone else may have a better idea.
