proe crashes when loading prt template

Hello all,

I made the following prt template with WF 3.0

Problem is that everytime I try to create a new part using it, ProE crashes and exits. Restarting ProE doesn't solve the problem since it keeps crashing when I do file>new> and use the template.

The only way I can open it without any problem is by file> open

Anybody has an idea about solving this issue ??

I doubt the problem is the part, it might be that your system give the software a pause and it hangs trying to find the part. Try assigning a new location and placing that part in that folder. You can set the new location in your config file as a test. I suggest a location near to or in the startup directory. Not a fool proof method but might confuse the issue a little hehe

I tried what you adviced but without success

At first, I thought you had a good point because I put my part templates in a subfolder of "Program Files" implying thus a space character in the filepath. So I change the path to a simple one in the startup folder but ProE keeps crashing (very fast : a quarter second maybe) when I load it from the template dialog box. Still no probem if I open the template as a regular part.

I really don't understand what's the problem ...
