Hi all,
it's me again....
Is there anyway to avoid the 15 minutes wait after each unlock?
I want to debug my program and this 15 minute license lock is really annoying...
Or I have to get a specific license fore Pro/Toolkits?

, thanks
, Grant

Hi,

Even you have the license for Pro-Toolkit, for unlcok the Pro-Toolkit application you need to wait for 15min, you can't escape this time.As per Toolkit documentation it is clearly mentiond. As per my knowledge with WF 2.0 there is no other go to avoid this.

You don't need to unlock the application when you have a Toolkit license because you're able to run locked apps. It's when you want to distribute it to users that don't have the toolkit license that you need to unlock it. Typically you do all your debuggingwithyour Pro/Ewith Pro/TOOLKIT extensionand when it's ready for release then unlock it and wait the 15 minutes. Also FYI - Wildfire 3 unlocksyour application instantly but holds the license for 15 minutes.

I tried to run an dll without unlock and it gives me:
"The Pro/TOOLKIT application ""XXXX"" was not unlocked before distribution to your site."
that means I dun have a Toolkit license huh?
I guess I should probably get one....
, thanks

Stomata,

You need to run ptcsetup.bat in the <pro loadpoint>\bin directory. Make a new startup batch file and attatch the Pro/TOOLKIT floating module to it. Then use this new command to start pro and run your synchronous app. In short, you didn't attach the Pro/TOOLKIT floating module to your pro startup.

Thank you!!!!
actually has this information been documented on their website or any of their user manuals?
, thanks

Grant,

Yes it is documented but it's not very clear what action is to be take. Look in the API Wizard under User's Guide->Fundamentals->Testing the Pro/TOOLKIT Installation. There is a bulleted list there. Read the second bullet.
