ptc_wm_revisoin:d format parameter

I use the ptc_wm_revision:d parameter in my format. If I create a drawing and choose Empty or Empty with Format,the Windchill version parameter will not display correctly. Only the parameter text displays.


Even if i save and checkin the drawing and part the parameter will not display correctly.


If i remove the format, save the drawing, then clear memory, I can then add the format and the parameter value correctly displays as it should.


Does anyone know how i canadd the format and have the WC version parameter display correctly without having to remove the format on every sheet, save and then re-addthe formatback in?


This is a system parameter in the drawing. I am using WF3 M140.

Before you can reference the parameter, it needs to exist. The parameter isn't created in Wildfire, only in Windchill.


When you create the drawing, upload it to the Windchill server (not necessary to check in), and then it will have all of the windchill parameters created. You can then add the format.
