Hello to allmcad members,

dear freinds,

I want to know that what the exact steps / texts are required when we are going to purge the older versions of a drawing through window > system window ,then what to type exactly and how ; without opening the part file in their separate window and then File > Delete > Older versions. (Offcoure I am talking about Pro/E wf 2.0)

I am waiting for the answer .

Thanks & regards,

If you want to get ride of an entire directory of older versions you can navigate to that directory in Command Prompt and type in purge then enter, it will purge that directory and that directory only.

Is there any software which automatically do purging....i m heared a name "purge drive plus......if any one have the software or any other than share with me my id is [email protected]

thanks in advance...

I use CGN PURGE and I find it is easier to use than the Spekan Purge Tool. They are both great tools. Using the ProE Window is extremely time consuming and only allows purge of one directory at a time.
