Radial pattern in WF 2.0

prowd

New member
How do I create a non uniform radial pattern in WF 2.0 ? Ihave no problem if the angle spacing between the individual pattern instancesis equal, but I require first pattern member to be 30 degrees to original feature and second to be 65 degrees. Hope this makes sense?

Thanks

Phil

the only thing I can think of is to make a table pattern where to put the angle. Because I don't think you can use relations for a radial pattern.

So make the feature (hole, protrusion) defined with an angle then put the angle in a pattern table.

This is for a hole:

I made the hole diametral placed andI have an angle. Then I pattern the hole with a table pattern and looks like this:

Thanks Vlad

Can you give me more info on how you input data into pattern table for example how do I add a row in the table and specify additional values for subsequent pattern members? It would be helpful to see your pattern table data?

Prowd,

Columns added to table by multiplte selection of dimensions in the model (remember Ctrl Key selection), rows added as needed (each new row requires a unique number in the idx column)

PS The * in the cells means that pro/Table reads the initial dimension in to that cell (eg row 2 dims are 65 & 448)

Looks like the one Kev showed you, unfortunately I finished for today so I'm at home can't give you a picture with the table.

Basically it's like this, make the hole , protrusion or whatever at an angle and related to the main axis. Then select the hole, right click, pattern, choose table pattern from the drop down menu, then select the angle dimension, then I think the last button on the bottom left corner of the window is the edit table. Then a window pop up with the tablel like in the picture Kev posted.

Where you enter the index numbers and below the angle dimension you enter the values.

Nice, we both said the same things, in the same time.
