raised text

Using WF-3 I need to create raised text on a conical surface. Mcad Central has an artical on this issue but the text is raised normal to the scetching plane. I need it raised normal to the conical surface. I can do it by creating one letter at a time, placing each letter 5 degrees apart. It's very time consuming and not very freindly to change. Open for suggestions. I keep hearing how great Pro-E is. Now is the time to convince me.

Hi Mark,

Also try for drafted/drafted and filletedoptions available with this feature.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
All options available in the console

Sketcher text is disbaled in rudreshe's method. You need to have have a previous text sketched on a datum plane approx parallel to the conic surface at the centre of text and then use the "use-edge" to collect the text edges. Other than that it works fine.

I have another option: Offest the conic surface by the height of the text. Extrude (surface cut) to trim the surface with the sketched text and then thicken the trimmed surface.
