Tran,

That attachment is rather large (~1 MB). Please suppress all features and save as Zip (~250 KB) before posting.

It is not the file in your picture. No Revolve 1.

Make sure the surface fully intersects (will create a closed intersection curve) the solid body.

You've also got about a page and a half of Geom Checks, which may contribute to failures.

I posted wrongly.(vo_xe1 is right, vo_xe is wrong)


I created a closed intersection curve but can't create the body solid.

I am new here, but the only information I can give you is that the revolve doesn't like the "solidify" feature. If you suppress that feature, you can solidify the revolove. I haven't figured any solutions. Sorry

I'll venture a guess that it's the end surfaces left
from the toroid bend (which I have never used, have no
knowledge of).

I'm not sure how I'd go about modeling a tire and tread,
but know I've seen examples on the forum. Might look
or them to get some hints. Good luck with it...

The toroid bend has end surfs similar to the partial revolve in attached, just closer together, possibly coincident. You'll have to figure out how to get rid of them (I think) before being able to solidify your revolved surface.

And that's what has to happen for your toroid bend to work. I'm not sure it can be done.

You are going to have to get rid of the yellow surfs?

The model"vo_xe1" can't finish.

Don't know what to tell you. You do understand why it's not working (yellow surfs)?

I went back and looked at your VO_XE.prt. It does not have those surfs and a revolved feature on it can be Solidified.

You're going to have to figure out what's wrong with the toroidal bend in VO_XE1.prt so it doesn't create the unwanted end surfaces.
