Redirecting vault check in

Hello ProAdmins,

I have inherited a domain that is in need of some TLC.
I need to know how to redirect output from one vault to another.
I don't have anyone around here to bounce this off of for a sanity check.

I currently have 10 vaults.

Vaults 1 thru 7 are functioning fine, except my vault 3 is very large.
Vaults 8 thru 10 have zero files in them. So what I'd like to do
is set vault 3 to read only and redirect the saved files to be output
in one of the 3 remaining vaults (8-10).

Vault 01Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0110 Gig
Vault 02Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0210 Gig
Vault 03Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0330 Gig
Vault 03Root Folder/ENGINEERING-03/TestData-130 Gig
Vault 05Root Folder/ENGINEERING-03/TestData-211 Gig
Vault 03Root Folder/ENGINEERING-03/TestData-330 Gig
Vault 04Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0410 Gig
Vault 05Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0510 Gig
Vault 06Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0610 Gig
Vault 07Root Folder/ENGINEERING-0710 Gig
Vault 08Root Folder/ENGINEERING-080 Gig
Vault 09Root Folder/ENGINEERING-090 Gig
Vault 10Root Folder/ENGINEERING-100 Gig

This is just a pared down illustration of what I'm trying to convey here.

Do I need to go in and physically reset every folder from vault3 to vault8?
After doing that, then go in and set vault3 to read only?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Just set vault3 to read-only. Files checked out of 3 will now be checked in to another vault. That is all you have to.
