MY QUESTION:
Does anyone knowhow toreference (or use) a hole feature's internal sketch plane to define a new revolved surfaceusing ProE/WF2 FoundationAdv.
BACKGROUND INFO:
I'mmaking my own API style pipe threadUser Defined Feature (UDF)and want minimize the number of user selected references (E.g. keep it to onlydrill a surface and an axis).I have defined the profile of the threadusing a sketched hole with coaxial placementbut would also like to create acosmetic pipe thread (e.g. with a variable diameter). Ihave seen that this cosmetic pipe thread can be created using a revolved surface and I like the result. THE PROBLEM is that tocreate a revolve, I need a sketch planeBUTI don't wantmy UDF to require another reference. If I could reference and usethe initial hole's internal sketch planethe UDF would bevery clean andsimple, very easy to use. Life wouldbe good!
