Reference Balloon problems?

Anyone here use driven reference balloons? We don't use them because balloon and text size doesn't match the regular driven balloons, and you can't move the REF to the side of the balloon. Must have been a late addition to Wildfire and wasn't fully tested before the release.



I usually just create new balloons unless I can get a regular driven balloon to place a ref next to it. But then Pro only allows the ability to create 1 driven balloon per item.

Am I the only one that has a problem with ref balloons?


I put in an inhancement request to have their damn ref balloon command fixed and nothing yet.

1. GO TO YOUR_PRO/E_DIR\SYMBOLS\REPORT\BOMBALLOON


2. FIND qty_ref_bln.sym AND smp_ref_bln.sym


3. RENAME THEM


4. RETRIEVE IN DWG MODE AND EDIT AS DESIRED. SAVE MODIFIED.


5. RENAME FILES BACK.


6. RESTART PRO/E SESSION. SHOULD WORK.
