Reference Dim’s - parenthesize_ref_dim

Can you help me with a Detail Drawing Question about wildfire 2
Adding a Reference Dimension- how to change the display ?
This config "parenthesize_ref_dim" does not work when I want try it ? I cannot seem to toggle the dimension on mydrawing "123.00 REF" to "(123)" What am I doing wrong ?
I also expected this config setting to be in the DTL file but it appears in config.pro -
which come to think of it makes some sense as some reference dimensions are added in my model.
I did check out PTC / TPI / knowledge base but couldnt find anything. the problem occured when I was either showing a dimension or adding a ref dim in the drawing.

I think the setting only has effect when the ref dim is created as it is just extra text added to the dimension. You can always edit the text later.
