References greyed out in sketcher

I have wildfire 4 and am going through the tutorials. The cell phone tutorial says to click on sketch and then references. I have just the icons and in the sketcher mode all of the icons are there but the references one is greyed out.


I am trying to create a datum curve for the keypad reference. The tutorial wants me to use two edges as references but since I cannot get to the references dialog box I can only use one reference.

Do you see a references window button on the Windows toolbar? If so, right click onbutton and try maximize or restore.

Thanks for the help. I think the problem was with my computer, I did some housecleaning and defragged and now it is working.
