regenerate multiple models in one drawing

sander

New member
In one drawing I have multiple models (instances) that I want to
regenerate without first setting one model active... than regenerate...
then setting the other active... then again regenerate....etc etc...

Is there an easier way ?

I believe you can open the generic and verify all the instances, this has the effect of regenerating them all.

I have the same problem, but not with instances. What if in one drawing you have multiple models (assemblies, subassembly's, parts, dummy asm and dummy parts, views with different representation, instances etc), how can you then regenerate them all in one drawing? I have in one drawing 15 different parts and asm, and if I want to regenerate them all I must regenerate one by one (and if you have about30 or moreof this kind of drawing this is a lot of job).

Is there some kind of options to regenerate all models that was in drawing?

Unfortunately that won't do the trick... All your parts will be
regenerated, but a drawing containing these models will not be
updated.....Only the one that is set as active in your drawing....

ASSEMBLE ALL YOUR MODELS IN ONE DUMMY ASSEMBLY

INCLUDE IT IN DRAWING WITHOUT CREATING VIEW.

SET IT ACTIVE

REGENERATE

DELETE WHEN ALL DONE.
