I'm trying to write a relation for a distance on an assembly. What I have is a stationary plate with a 24t.p.i. and an adjust screw through it that thread. On the end of the adjust screw is thread with 20t.p.i.. As I screw the adjust screw in, it screw into another part and draws it back at 24t.p.i. I want to just be able to vary the dimension for the adjust screw and have the other part move in relation to it. I have a 5/8" dimension (d19) that is from the plate to the end of the adjust screw, and I have a 1-27/32"(d24) dimension that I want to vary as the adjust screw dimension change. Based on the pitch of the threads, as I decrease the 5/8" dimension .042(the distance of one rotation) then the 1-27/32" dimension should decrease .050(the distance of one rotation). I've been banging my head on my desk for awhile, so I figured that I'd see if anyone had any ideas? Thanks for the help. Josh
