Relation/Parameter Driven Spring?

I would like to create a small compression spring driven by Relations and/or Parameters, but I don't know where to start. Spring will be approx 1" long, 5-6 coils, .375 outside or inside diameter, & .03 wire diameter. Any suggestions or help would be most appreciated
