just a thought in mind; don't know if its possible or not. and wanted to share with you guys.

say we have a dimension100 (with internal id d1)with upper tolerance=2 and lower tolerance=1

now i want to relate another dimension with this dimension BUT with the tolerance.

say the other dimension is 50 (with internal id d2)

can i use a relation for d2=d1(upperlimit)/2

that is if 100 bocomes 102 than 50 becomes 51

and if i just change the tolerance of 2 to 4

the change reflects in dimension d2. that is it becomes 52?

Sure, use the new relation editor and you can pick the individual dimensions. The tolerance will have "tm" and "tp" names, just like "d" is the name for dimensions.

The example file has a relation that uses the tolerances (created in WF3)
