removing material by other part

Hi

I am doing an assembly which consists of a pipe and a
plate. I would like to remove the inner material on the
plate made by the pipe and also to remove some of the
pipe so that the plate will be flat to the bottom and can
be mounted.

Help is creatly appreciated

if you extrude the tube, you can choose to extrude to surface. Then a second operation, referencing the tube intersection.

This model assumes the plate would be cut using a conventional method, and not at the angle of the tube. That would be easy to do as well however. 2009-10-14_122024_prt0004.prt.zip

It is really a good solution you did using the planes to
define the pipe.

sweeeeet!! i think this engine would look good in one of my Ford -32 hotrods...

(i only got 360hp inmy 5w coupe , and about 400hp in my roadster...so far..)
