I am having problems rendering a simple model. The screen goes black when I render. Is there a setting I may have messed up that would cause this? I had it working once before so I know my computer can hand it.
Your too close to the model without using Perspective. Use perspective in the rendering toolbox. Any further questions you should refer to the thread RENDERING Q&A and GALLERY. Edited by: CPiotrowski
It works fine if I do not render the room. When I turn off room render I get the render of my model but I get a black background. How can I turn that black background to white?
If you are only using photorenderer it defaults to black. I was never able to figure out how to change standard renderer background. Just render the room andset yourperspective before you render the model.
I figured it out, thank you. I was completly out side the room for some reason. And to get a white back ground you have to change the color of the room walls from default gray to whit in the room editor.
As for your problem it isn't solution to turn all room walls to white, you should turn off room and under Apply special environment effects, under Background selectcolor you wish to be on your background during rendering
