I have a water bath assembly with various parts that contains soft PVC tubing in different lengths. The tubing parts were created as a family table part with different lengths. I would like to create a repeat region for this assembly that would have one line item for the tubing and would add the total length in the qty field of that table.
For example if I have 3 pieces (parts/instances) of tubing at 3", 5" and 2.5". I would want the table to have one line item and show the qty at 10.5". The other parts would show their normal qty (rpt.qty). See the example table below.
I believe this needs to be done with a repeat region parameter. I have done this in the past for example when using a bulk item or a custom values (as is described in http://www.mcadcentral.com/articles/templates/proe.asp?artic leid=6&zoneid=2) but adding the complicity of a family table and adding values has me stumped.
