repeat region question

I have a simplifed rep called e3 and an explode state called the same showing in a drawing. I have a repete region displaying BOM details about the view. Fair enough.

My problem comes in like this... I have two antenna an an assembly both with same cable lengths (not symetrical) and one is called LH and one is RH... since they are both cables they are in fact the same part number... To show them both in the explode state requies me to route a separeate assembly for the drawing. How can I trick repete region into not displaying the ANTENNA-LH.ASM in the BOM?

ahha... let me try that. That worked... Now I want to bump up the QTY of the RH version up one so QTY is '2'I wonder if there is an accepted techniqe for tricking thigs like this?

write a relation for the repeat region, there is a good
example of this in the cadquest drawing manual if you
access to that.

I ended up just adding an extra Antenna Assembly to the assembly and used 'View' 'Drawing Display' 'Component Display' to blank the model.

There is an easier and tidier way to show a quantity of 2 for a left and right hand pair.

Don't list the "model name" in the B.o.M.

Only list things like part number and description etc which you can easily force to be identical. And remember to set the attributes to "No Duplicates"

Writing relations for repeat regions is much more powerful but also much easier to get wrong.
