Repeat Regions in Layouts

Hi Everyone

This problem has been bugging me for a week now, and I want to put it to rest...

I am working on an assembly which is to be linked to a Layout (aka
Pro/Notebook file) via declarations to the assembly skeleton models.

The layout is about 12 pages long. The Top Level assembly is laid out
(simple mock-up done in TurboCAD) on 2 pages, and the subassemblies are
laid out in the following pages.

One nice feature of layouts that I was trying to use was the ability to
create a repeat region for the layout parameters and names.

The problem I'm having is that when I make one of these tables, it shows me every single dimension and parameter in the layout.

Fair enough...

So I tried to organize my parameters with prefixes (i.e. TOP_XXXX for
the top-level assembly, and so on) and make filters for the repeat
regions on each page. But when I try to make a filter using: lay.param.name != TOP_* as the argument, I'm told I can't do this.

The project itself is in very early stages of development, and I know I
will be adding parameters to this layout as the project progresses, so
I would like to automate the display of dimensions in my layout.
Rightnow I have tables where I manually key in the parameter name and
the value in the next cell. Adding and removing parameters is getting
to be a pain.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before?

Thanks in advance
