replace component

hi guys


i want to replace component in an assembly status but i don't know how to do this.can anyone tell me?

Harrison, select the part that you want to replace in the model tree. Right click and you will see the " Replace " command. You will then get a window pop up asking you to pick the replacement part.

my question is there is some items i don't understand.can you explane


all?for example:what is reference model?

Go to the ProE's help menu, go to Pro/Assembly, hit the Search tool and type in replace. Look at the details for replace by family table, replace by layout and replace manually. These should explainj everything you need to know
