Resusing ordinate dimensions

Hi Rakesh,

Failure of ordinate dimensions happen when you change the base reference of the ordinate dimensions. So finding the base reference dimension and modifying it is the way to reuse all other driven ordinate dimensions.

First open the drawing, check all the dimensions are pink color (if it losts the base reference). To find out the base reference, go to Info-switch dimensions-check out the least number which is the first base reference and try to do edit attachment and pick the latest base reference which regains all the remaining ordinate dimensions. I hope this helps you...

Hi Ashok,

Thanks for reply but my question is how can move ordinate dimension from one view to another view like basic dimensions

Regards

Rakesh

Nope you cant move ordinate dimensions from one view to another projected view. But you can move it to the same view which is insame sheet or in different sheets. Just you could think how it recognizes the base references of different views.
