Revolve UDF References

Is there any way to make a Revolve UDF so that the placement References are only an Axis and Datum Point, the same used in the revolve sketch? Or because the sketch requires the 2 Orthogonal planes, they will be automatically included in the references?

What I'm trying to accomplish is using a Revolve UDF that will be placed onto a random organic shaped surface (ROSS). The ROSS has a datum point and datum axis that is normal to the surface. I really don't want to have to create the sketch and alignment Orthogonal datum planes for each UDF placement as there will be a large number of points and Axes. Is there some other way to accomplish what I am looking to do or atleast automate the creation of the revolve UDF reference planes in the ROSS?

Well I was able to figure out how to Reference pattern the orthogonal sketch planes and normal axes (use Group). Now just need to figure out the how to REF pattern the UDF. That keeps blowing up on me now. Anyone?
