I have tried a few times, really slow stuff. put a cup of tea or coffee on the table, whenever you want to use it, so you take a sip while the software struggles to modify a single curve on the mesh.
I have tried couple of timestoo . i find really difficult to control the software environment because of too much points...Instead of that i use Geomagic Studio...an excellent RES for surfacing the point cloud.
I have used it quite a bit but it veers from my technique of making a model modifiable and robust. To me it's not enough to just model an object. I (and most customers) want a model that is easy to change. We don't have a class for that module perse. However we could put a two day or five day class together any month. We could even set it up with a binocular camera and multiple instructors. Just a thought. Edited by: design-engine
