Roll Dimensions Don’t Move with the View

Hi all,

I have a section view and want to put a few roll dimensions on it. I sketch a circle constrained to two edges of the part. Then I dimension from an anlged surface to the circle (tangent). This gives the tool room a dimension they can use... they can set the part on a sine plate, measure over a roll at the base of the sine plate, then stack the appropriate gage blocks to set an indicator where the angled surface should be.

The problem is when I move the view, these two dimensions don't move with it. I have tried highlighting the dimensions - Group - Relate to View with no change.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Steve

Hi.

You probable didn't turn on "parametric sketching". If you create draft entity without "parametric sketching", then it is not connected to geometry (lines,...) thathave beenused to create it. If you create draft entity with "parametric sketching" turned on, then your entity will even change size, shape and position if necessary to stay connectedto reference lines.
