In Blend->Protrusion->Rotational, when I edit the definition of a shape created this way, how do I alter the angles between the sketches? I can alter the sketches themselves, but not their angluar relation to eachother.
actually no, I haven't found what I'm looking for. Perhaps I should clarify my question.
Double clicking on the part lets me edit all of the dimensions for each sketch. This is handy, but does not allow me to edit the angular dimension between each ENTIRE sketch. When I create the part origionally, using a rotational blend, I make one sketch, accept it, then type an angular dimension as an offset for the next sketch. This re-launches sketcher, allowing me to make the 2nd sketch. This is repeated as many times as you want. It is THIS angle that I want to alter.
Do you have a large number of sections? Are your sections very complex? Do you have many entities and many dimensions in each of your sections? If so, this can make it difficult for you to find the angle dimensions that you are trying to find. When you double-click, look very closely at every dimension for one of your middle sections and you should find a dimension that points to the section that says something like "45.0Y" where 45.0 is the angle between your sections. It does not appear as a regular angle dimenion -- rather, it points to the section like a drawing note or radius dimension.
I don't know which version of pro/e you have, but if you have the legacy option for pro/e, you can select Applications->Legacy. This will give you the old floating drill-down menus on the right (from pre-wildfire). Using these menus, you can actually view the dimensions for each section separately in the model (after double-clicking). I find this option to beof great help when I have several sections andseveral dozen dimensions defining a blend.
Click on the feature in the model tree, RMB>edit. somewher on each sketh you see an arrow pointing toward the sketch: 75.0Y, 30.0Y, 75.0Y, 90.0Y. The first sketch has no arrow.
