Its a hidden config option called allow_round_all set to yes

It allows you to round all convex rounds at once or all concave rounds or both. This option is availible in WF 2 and WF 3. You wont be able to find the option in the options list but its there.

allow_round_all yes

Yes
this config option is invisible, u need to manually type it.
ButThe use of "hidden configs" is a practice that is dangerous, unsupported, and strongly discouraged. These options are provided by PTC Research & Development for use by PTC Quality Assurance during the early research and development stages of a new Pro/ENGINEER release. These options are not intended to be used by customers in production. Some of these options may enable software code that was found to have an unacceptable level of quality and was therefore de-activated. Others may change aspects of the software that were intended to work as a cohesive whole. These "hidden config" options enable functionality that simply has not been fully tested by PTC QA.

I just could never figure out why I'd want every edge on my model to have a fillet and why I'd want that fillet to be the same for every edge. i guess there's a reason why but I haven't figured it out at least in my plastic part design...............

HI
It is desired in product design for moulds some times. not every time. and ptc isw still in reserch for that option, it is not yet declaired, no technical support is provided for that option. there are many option s likewise.

You can put different sized rounds ahead of an all round feature. So lets say you have your part with rounds you desirealready on it,but you dont want any sharp edges and you are going to use an 1/8" cutter to make the mold. You can make a final round feature that grabs the rest of the sharp edges and makes your part manufacturable. It is just a quick way to finish the part.

And just to dido dibz, it is still in its testing phase so be catious.

And what about this feature (WF 3.0):

I can't find it!..

Where is it?

The remove surface feature will be out in Wildfire 4.0

It's a feature that lets you remove surfaces from either a parametric or an imported model and then automatically trims the surrounding up.

This feature work very well and is really handy (in Mold Design).

this feature works better with proe2001 as its easy to unselect edges you don't want to put rounds, in WF2.0 there's only two option all convex and all concave but in proe2001 there's an additional option all edges, also its more easy and faster to create variable rounds...

The config, allow_round_all, is in the Wildfire 2advanced part modeling class userguide. So it must be supported by PTC.

It is in wildfire 3 as well. You cannot find it because it is hidden. manually type in:

option: allow_round_all value: yes

you will see it in the sets tab once that is set

When I went through the PTC sponsored upgrade training from 2001 to Wildfire 2.0, this functionality was included in the manual. So I don't know about it being discouraged by PTC, but maybe it hasn't been fully tested.
