rpt.index relation?

Is it possible to make a relation for a rpt.index in a drawing so that I can set my on number for positions in assembly instead of automatically generated numbers.

Maybe my question was a little bit confusing. But on another forum I've found a solution for my problem. It is possible to make your own number for parts in an assembly with Table>Repeat Region> Fix inedx.

I'm not sure if it helps, but you can sort by going to Table>Repeat Region>Sort Regions>Edit and then type the parameter followed by forward or backward that you wantyour part listsorted by in the editor. For instance, if you wanted to sort by the parameter "Description" in ascending order, you would type in "asm.mbr.DESCRIPTION Forward". Otherwise, if you want to sort by the order in which you assembled you assembly model, make sure you clear the sort editor of parameters, and set your repeat region "Attributes" to "No Dup/Level" and "Flat". Other than that, if these do not work for you, you will have to use the "Fix Index" option to sort manually as you stated above. I hope this is helpfull to you.
