saved view list orientation

I am confused about the saved view list. Sometimes the parts i create only have two orientations in the saved view list: "standard orientation and default orientation". Sometimes, I get the full list: Top, Front, Back, etc.

How do I make the other typical orientations (Top, bottom, front, etc) always avaible in the saved view list? When I create a new part, I use the default datums as the base references. Any insight would be helpful. Thx

Make sure you use the start part that has the predefined orientations.

Start parts can include but not limited to:

1.saved views
2.units
3.parameters
4.default layers
5.default datums

If you look in your config file it will tell you what start parts you are using
