Scaling part

The way I apply shrinkage to a model is to model the part, and then at the end to scale it up. Why does this scaling not appear in the model tree. Also, if you then go back to a sketch or anything else before you added the scaling, it shows the new scaled dimensions, not the original dimension. Surely it should still be showing the original dimension? There is thus no indication of scaling, or how much scaling was added, unless you "remember" the original dimension and then work it out manually???

Thanks,

Shaun

HI
for applaying shrinkage go edit ,set up, shrinkage.
or directly apply shrinkage from mould wizard.

scaling is not shrinkage

You're right - if you scale, the dimensions change with no reference to the original, thus dibz comment above is a better solution for mold shrinkage.

Hi

I don't have the mould module, and when I click setup/shrinkage, it says I am missing modules. If I had this module, would shrinkage be added as a feature in my model tree, and would everything before that still be original dimensions? Mould package costs R56 100. Very expensive for us, as we got the Foundation and machining package for total of R40 000!
