what you got to trade? I have a four stroke Pro/E model of a 35 horse rotary engine. Its never been prototyped. And its scalable by horsepower as opposed to just displacement.
How about an engine that doesn't burn any fuel and I am not talking electric. On my own, no funding, and no ties to government or industry I am developing an engine that does not consume any fuel. I am taking the Edison approach to engineering.
The concept is to usedual rotary chambers, apply the Stirling engine principals, create temperature differentials by applyingBenoulli's effect and Kelvin's thunderstorm. Whilecrunching the numbers I want to build a prototype.
The rotary engine produces 3 shaft revolutions per 1 rotor revolution andthe energy moments translate most efficiently in a rotary configuration. 2 chambers allow for a separation between the hot and cold differentials. As an object begins to move through our air friction and compression occur. When sent through a venturi the exit nozzle produces lower temperatures than ambient.
When water is injected into the air gravity and air flow pull water molecules apart which forces ions to exit which can then be collect when traveling through a coil which can then be use to generate heat.
The question to ask is why store energy rather than utilize energy present in gravity, water, air, sunlight, other atmospheric molecules, and other particles. Unless the intent is to harness, store, and sell the fuel. The answer may have already been discovered by some research facility, but I amskeptical that if a source of "free" energy was developed it would never be available to the public. Edited by: RussellW

Ill be at Mid Ohio race track All day Thursday. (tomorrow) if anyone wants to come out and say hi. http://www.midohio.com/ Edited by: design-engine

Russel, The thing about fuels is that they are extremely condensed forms of energy. The energy sources you speak of are not condensed and you would need a very L A R G E amount of atmospheric particles to turn an engine. Like solar panels you need a 8 ft x 8 ft to get 25 watts. I'm not a subscriber to conspiracy theories. Free energy in mass usuable terms would never be free. It still has to be delivered, packaged. BTW there is free energy available everywhere. Sunlight for example. It heats your house, grows your lawn& garden, it can dry, it can heat water in a black container, etc. Its slow working, but its there. Its all there for free and the govenment hs not taken itaway from anyone.
I applaud your entheusiam, and I too wish there was something for nothing in terms of energy.
