section ?!

Hi everybody !!
When i make a Drawing, I have a section view, and pro/e default has "section A-A" as a name of this section, but i want pro/e just show "A-A" as the name of drawing automatically, is there any to setup this default. Thanks everybody for reading and helping me !!

You can set the default drawing view note with drawing option (see *.DTL file) "view_note". Default value is "std_ansi" in which case the name of the section drawing view will read "SECTION A-A" (the same applies for the value "std_iso").

To show just "A-A" set the drawing view option as follows:

view_note std_din

I have a related question: I have a section and the cutting line does not show up on the view. It is an offset section. I do not draft much with pro-e so it probably is something simple - any help is appreciated

Highlight the view.....right mouse button.....add arrows....pick the view you want them shown on.
